Francis E.” Big Cat” Mullen


Member of First Baptist Church was self-employed

Francis E "Big Cat" Mullen, 53, of Lawrence, died Saturday, February 25, 2006, in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.

He was born October 24, 1952, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Dwayne and Everlener Mullen Kemp.

Mr. Mullen was self-employed. He was a member of First Baptist Church of McDonald, Elks Keystone 6 and many other organizations and was
National President of Brothers of the Hammer Motorcycle Organization.

His longtime companion was Paula
(Paula Poo) Warnick of Lawrence.

Also surviving are his wife, Jeymi L. Mullen of Carnegie; five sons, Francis Longstreth of McDonald, Francis M. Tinsley of Pittsburgh, Elliot Mullen of Carnegie, Trevon Mullen of Canonsburg and Donald Mullen; a daughter, Marquita Mullen of Carnegie; siblings Charles, Jessie, Jeane, Valerie and Vernon Lauw, David Jurcic, Dino and Bradley Kemp, Lavern and Roland Kemp and Fannie Mae Jene; four grandchildren; his grandmother, Fannie Mae Cornell; two uncles; and a host of relatives and friends.

Friends will be received from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 314 West Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 3, with the Rev. Melvin Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Francis Mario Tinsley, c/o Thomas-Little Funeral Service.
